Ptim is lucky enough to be married to the beautiful and fiercely creative Effie Callan. Effie is a polymath artist who paints, sings, designs Web pages, makes music, photoshops, shoots films, makes soap, and pretty much handles any other crafty thing to which she puts her mind. She loves shoes.

Ptim and Effie are the owners of two dogs (Bruce the Bruce, and Max) and Baby Kitty the cat. Bruce loves to play ball more than he loves food, and Max loves to bother Bruce.
